How will funding amounts be determined? Will CDC reduce the requested funding amount if not all sections of an application are approved?
Funding will match proposed activities approved during the application review process. Applications will be funded in order, by score and rank, as determined by the review panel, taking into consideration other factors listed in the FOA, including geographic distribution. See page 83 of the FOA for the evaluation criteria used to evaluate eligible applications. Awards will vary with size of area, the proposed activities, and the needs of each community, and will fall within the illustrative ranges on page 55 of the FOA.
