How will farmers and rural communities benefit from biodiesel production in Canada?
A strong domestic biodiesel industry will establish new markets and higher prices for oilseed crops while diversifying and strengthening rural economies. Based on average plant sizes and feedstock availability, it is estimated that the construction and operation of biodiesel plants will create more than 2,000 jobs.
