If ERCOT decides, in its sole discretion, to change this distribution for reasons such as anticipated weather events or holidays, ERCOT personnel shall select a State Estimator distribution from a proxy day reasonably reflecting the anticipated distribution in the Operating Day. The business process for selecting the proxy day that matches a historical day with the anticipated temperature profile for weather events, and uses a weekend proxy for holiday events (Protocol Reference 4.5.1 (5)).
