How will environmental concerns be addressed?
• An Archaeological review did not identify any archaeological sites associated with the works to be constructed. • No environmentally sensitive areas were identified during environmental reviews. • Canadian Environmental Assessment Act – Screening Report has been completed and submitted to Fisheries and Oceans Canada. • Environmental notifications, authorizations and/or permits will be in place prior to construction. • Sediment and Drainage Management Plans will be implemented at the start of construction of each segment.
