How will duplicate providers be recognized and consolidated?

0

Processing to identify and prevent duplicates will occur automatically when a new provider is added to a registry. When inter-provincial processing is implemented the automatic process will search for potential duplicates first in the local registry and then across all registries. Duplicates may be identified as duplicate “provider as a person” or duplicate “provider in a role”. For a more detailed explanation of how duplicate processing will work, please see WHIC Provider Registry – Duplicate Processing.
