Financial information will be available in an Air Force financial data warehouse (currently CRIS). However, DEAMS financial management information will be captured using the Standard Financial Information Structure (SFIS) to produce both standard and ad-hoc reports. The SFIS is an enterprise-wide data structure that supports the Department’s budget, cost/performance management, financial accounting, and external reporting needs through standard business processes, a common business language, a common set of general ledger transactions and posting rules, standard cost accounting processes and methodologies, and integration of programmatic/budget information against execution.
