How will Council Tax Rebate /Housing Benefit be paid?

0

We will pay your Council Tax Rebate straight to your Council Tax account. You will get a bill showing any amount you have to pay after Rebate has been awarded. If you are a Council tenant, we will pay your Housing Benefit into your rent account. If you are a private tenant we will pay your benefit direct in to your bank account or by cheque. If you are 8 weeks or more in arrears we will pay your benefit directly to your Landlord. Where you are experiencing difficulty managing your finances we may pay direct to your Landlord. If you are a Housing Association tenant in most cases you can choose where to have your benefit paid. We will either pay it straight to your bank account, by cheque or direct to your Landlord.
