How will cleaning my dryer duct help prevent a fire?
Many people don’t realize that lint is highly combustible. Even though your lint trap catches most of the lint (40%-60%), some of it makes it way into the dryer duct and around your dryer. If the dryer can’t breathe because lint is clogging the exhaust duct or the dryer’s air intake vent, the dryer will run hotter, creating a fire hazard.
