How will budgets be monitored and reviewed?
If you take some or all of your personal budget as a money sum, we will still expect you to keep separate records of how you spend this. This is the same as we do now for direct payments, including checking people’s expenditure. However we expect that support plans will often be less specific about details than current care plans for direct payments, so monitoring and audits will probably be less detailed.
