How will award nights booked prior to June 4th be impacted if the hotel I am staying at now requires more or fewer points?
Redemptions for Hotels Moving to a Higher Category Any award night booked at a property prior to June 4th that is shifting to a higher category on June 4th and requires more points will not be effected. Reservations will remain in place at the original point level. For example, an award night booked at a Category 1 hotel for 5,000 points before June 4th that is moving to a Category 2 hotel for 8,000 points on June 5th will remain in place for 5,000 points. Redemptions for Hotels Moving to a Lower Category A member who books an award night at a property prior to June 4th that is shifting to a lower category on June 4th and requires fewer points will receive an adjustment. Hyatt Gold Passport customer service will proactively deposit the point difference back into a member’s account. For example, a member with an award night booked before June 4th for a Category 2 hotel for 8,000 points that is moving to a Category 1 hotel for 5,000 points on June 4th will receive 3,000 points returned t
