A healthier worker population will decrease absenteeism and lost time from work, and consequently, increase productivity. A safer work environment will result in fewer injuries and illnesses and decrease workers’ compensation claims. There are also substantial savings from offering onsite primary episodic care. It takes a great deal of time and effort to leave work to attend a doctor’s appointment, have ancillary services performed, and pick up prescriptions offsite.
