How will AMP differ from the Harvard Business Review, Sloan Management Review, or other business journals?
There are considerable differences among these various business journals, but it is fair to say that their main focus is on new ideas. A significant part of their content is based on what we might call informed speculation and opinion. They rarely summarize what we know and do not always use the existing base of research as the groundwork for their conclusions. Articles in AMP, in contrast, should be based on research evidence. Opinion, speculation, and new ideas for the sake of newness will have a low priority. Q: What is the role of theory in AMP articles?
