How will amalgamation affect the schools budgets?
This will depend on when the consultation and decision process takes place. If the amalgamation decisions are made well enough in advance, the Local Authority will produce individual budgets for each school for the period before they amalgamate and then subsequently provide the amalgamated school with its own budget once the amalgamated school with its own budget once the amalgamation has gone ahead.
