How will AEOA monitor the condition of the apartments?
Youth will know what is expected of them before they move in. Independent living skills will be part of their individual plans, and visiting the youth’s apartment is going to be a consistent check on how they are progressing. Youth will be working with a Youth Counselor on a consistent basis. Some might have daily contact with their Youth Counselor and some meetings will be in their apartment to make sure their unit is clean and free of damage. This will also give us an idea of how they are doing in general.
