How will advisers know that they are doing the right types of CPD to top up their Level 4 qualifications?

We say in CP09/31, that there are a number of ways that CPD top up could be determined. We propose taking a pragmatic approach – advisers will need to demonstrate they have completed structured learning that meets the new examination standards. We set out in CP09/31 a proposed template that advisers can use to identify any gaps and record how they will fill those gaps. We also say that learning undertaken previously will be recognised – there will not be any date on this, so past CPD can be used for CPD top up.
