How will a smoking ban affect businesses that are already smoke-free?
A smoking ban could negatively affect thousands of Michigans smoke-free establishments that have marketed their business as smoke-free to build a specific customer base. A smoking ban removes the ability for all businesses to make a significant, strategic marketing decision and instead puts that decision in the hands of the government.
