How will a faculty benefit by using STAR to manage their CV?

0

Using STAR to manage your CV allows you to enter data in one location while providing the ability to export that information in a variety of reporting formats. All demographic, appointment, research and teaching information entered into STAR will automatically appear in your CV. Links to RISe (http://rise.ubc.ca/rise/) and WebEval are planned, and there is a number of reporting and export formats available. UBC is involved in a pilot test of an export to the Common CV report feature. STAR users will have access to the upload feature. If you have up to date CV information in CCV you will be able perform a one-time export from CCV to STAR. STAR is active or being implemented in ten Canadian Medical Schools so CVs can be easily transferred. It is web accessible so your CV can be accessed, updated and exported from wherever you can access the Internet. Back to top.
