How will a custodial parent know if a fee was withheld from a child support payment?

Beginning Sept. 1, 2011, in registry only cases the custodial parents first payment of the month that exceeds $3 will be reduced by that amount to cover the SDU fee. Beginning Oct. 1, 2011, custodial parents with full service child support cases may check the OAGs Child Support Interactive Voice Response (IVR) line (800) 252-8014 or Child Support Interactive (CSI) on the child support section of the OAG website www.texasattorneygeneral.gov to see if the $25 annual service fee was withheld from a payment.
