How wide will the easement be?
REX — East proposes to obtain a new 50-foot permanent easement for the operation of the pipeline facilities. A 125-foot construction right of way, of which the 50-foot permanent easement is a part, will typically be needed for mainline construction activities. In certain areas such as road, railroad, and water body crossings, REX — East will need additional construction workspace beyond the standard 125 feet. REX — East will identify these areas so that they can be included in negotiations with landowners and submitted to FERC for review and approval.
