The plan is for a 110-foot right-of-way that includes: two travel lanes in each direction; a business access and transit lane in each direction; a median with protected pockets for left- and U-turns; and a 7 1/2-foot sidewalk separated from the street by a four-foot zone for things such as bus stops, fire hydrants, lighting and landscaping. A few special areas such as the double turn lane at N. 160th St. will be slightly wider. The width of Aurora currently ranges from 90 to 120 feet.
