I think you will find that typing will be quicker in the long run. Windows/Vista has speech recognition built in but it takes time for the system to ‘learn’ your voice and it will be several hours before it stops typing rubbish. Persevere with the typing, 30 pages after all is not really that much when I presume you are working in double spacing and your typing speed and accuracy should improve with practice.
