WIndows XP Service Pack 3 is just a free update for all genuine users of Windows XP unless you intend to install a version already integrated with the latest service pack. Service Pack 3 will be released sometime by the end of April or in early May. It will be made available to download through Microsoft’s website only (other websites are illegal) and a few weeks after that it will be available through automatic updates. The latest service pack is free and it will only install if your version of Windows XP passes the validation test whether it is genuine or not. If you don’t have internet, you could purhcase a CD installer of Windows XP already integrated with Service Pack 3 but I doubt it will be made available any sooner or if Microsoft is even planning to mass produce those copies. Anyways, you could bring you computer to one of your friend’s house and use his/her internet services to install the service pack.
