A4. Councils are responsible for implementing and therefore measuring progress made on implementing the Strategy. DCLG/LGA and the Regional Centres of Excellence (RCEs) will assess national and regional progress against the milestones ongoing. On 1st March 2005 DCLG released a report prepared by IDeA on the progress made – “One Year On”. Click here to view that report (link). RCEs will be given a breakdown of the regional progress of results from that report which is based on INLOGOV/IDeA national research programmes. The link between the NPS and CPA will also be made by the Audit Commission through the use of resources judgement. More detail of changes to CPA is included in the PDF of the report.
