How were the standards chosen for each grade level and subject?
Grade level District 44 teachers collaborated to select a “safety net” group of standards reflecting the Illinois and National standards. District 44 “safety net” standards are a limited set of learning objectives that every teacher should ensure that every student knows. Students meeting these “safety net” standards will have the foundation for the next level of learning.
