Pictures were taken of the soil. A soil description was made of the soils morphology. Samples were taken according to horizon. If the horizon was too thick, the horizon was divided and sub-samples were taken. Bulk samples were taken for physical, chemical, and mineralogical laboratory analyses. Core samples were taken for bulk density and water properties. Also, approximate 50 lb soil samples were taken from selected horizons.
