How were the pyramids really built in Egypt?

There is an emerging theory that has capitivating many experts and seems, at first glance, to satisfactorily explain how the Great Pyramid was built. For building the base up until the ceiling of the king’s tomb, two ramps were constructed for moving blocks. As the base got taller, they made the ramps bigger. However, for the higher portion, the ramps wouldn’t work, as they’d become far too large, requirng more material than the pyramid itself. So the new theory goes that there was a spiral ramp built on the Pyramid itself. On each corner of the pyramid, there was a crane secured in a notch. The blocks couldn’t be turned around a corner on the ramp, obviously, so the cranes were used to lift the blocks ans swing them around the corner to the next part of the ramp. Interestingly, the blocks are believed to have been made from one of the now disused ramps for the base. Finally, the spiral ramp itself was covered over with blocks, and the crane notches were filled in. Proof of this theory
