How Were the Percentile Maps Created?
Each map is created using the following procedure: • Historic accumulated precipitation values are compared to current accumulated precipitation values for points covering the area on the map • Depending on where the current values lie compared to the historical data, they are assigned percentile values • These values are then plotted giving the final result
