How were the effects of the exxon valdez oil spill dealt with?
There were three methods for cleaning up the spill. Burning, Mechanical Cleanup, and Chemical Dispersants. Burning could not work because of unfavorable weather. There was not enough wave action for the chemicals to clean up the spill. Mechanicul Cleanup worked but it was a slow process, because they did not have the neccesary equipment in the first 24 hours.
