How were the djinn and angels created?
Those who mistakenly think that Allah created living things by way of evolution are silent when it comes to the creation of the angels and djinn. Some of the verses concerning Allah’s creation of the angels and djinn are as follows: We created mankind out of dried clay, from mud moulded into shape. We created the jinn before out of the fire of a searing wind. (Surat al-Hijr, 26-27) Praise be to Allah, the Bringer into Being of the heavens and earth, He Who made the angels messengers, with wings – two, three or four. He adds to creation in any way He wills. Allah has power over all things. (Surah Fatir, 1) Those who maintain that human beings and other living things came into existence by evolution are of course unable to account for the angels created from light and the djinn created from fire in terms of evolution. The existence of the angels and djinn eliminates all the false claims of those who are unable to appreciate the might of Allah, who do not realize that Allah is unfettered
