How were the annexation boundaries determined? What is the difference between the two annexations?
The annexation boundaries were determined based upon the voter demographics in the area. Annexation area #1 contains greater than twelve registered voters and will be processed as an inhabited annexation. As an inhabited annexation both landowners and registered voters will have an opportunity to participate in the annexation process. Annexation area #2 is primarily vacant and is considered an uninhabited annexation. Landowners within annexation area #2 will have the opportunity to participate in the annexation process.
