How were stakeholders and the public consulted during the development of the Growth Plan for Northern Ontario, 2011?
The response and interest in the Growth Plan has been unprecedented. More than 1,400 northerners participated in the review of the Proposed Growth Plan, which was released in October 2009. This input, and the close to 300 written submissions received, were reviewed and analyzed. And, at least 18 partner ministries are now involved in working on the details of the plan’s implementation, measurement and monitoring.
