How were Directors chosen?
CLCO Directors are nominated by the local Funding Agencies either as independent Directors, or to represent their nominating Agency. TransLink, as CLCO’s shareholder, appoints CLCO’s Directors for three-year terms. The CLCO Board elects the Chair. Each local Funding Agency nominates Directors after considering the balance of skills, knowledge and experience required to effectively implement and govern the Canada Line Project. Recognizing the importance of working collaboratively with the Cities, the CLCO Board invites one senior representative from the City of Vancouver and one from the City of Richmond to attend the meetings of the CLCO Board in a non-participating (non-voting) capacity.
