How were all the Disney Channel stars discovered?
I think from some Disney website, they found out about an audition. I would imagine a script would be provided, and they’d record themselves and send it to Disney. They then call and ask to audition you if they liked your audition tape, and then it’s a series of call backs and auditions from there. I know this happened with Miley for the casting of Hannah Montana. And I have seen a Disney audition tape of the Jonas Brothers. I’m not sure about Selena and Demi and the Sprouse brothers, but they had already acted before becoming famous Disney stars. I always keep an eye out for auditions on the Disney Society website, but as I am British, I very much doubt any auditions will come up. Getting an agent would help a lot for you if you are American. I’m sure you can just GET an agent, but I would recommened getting one through a drama class/school.
