How well does the water stream in a bidet work compared to toilet paper?

I always thought the bidet was meant to be a follow-up after toilet paper, not a substitute. If the stream is strong and the water very warm, it should work better than dry paper. But cold water is just not going to get you clean. In Iran, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, and Dubai — and I suppose in all Moslem countries, they have a porcelain lined hole in the floor, with foot treads for you to squat. There’s a hose on the wall, with cold water. . Wherever they expect a lot of Westerners, they’ll have two toilets side by side: the Western style toilet and the Persian version. . I said that I think it’s the same in all Moslem countries because Mohammed told them in the Koran that they have to use water in the left hand; but if no water is available, they can use sand. Think about it.

Water is always better than toilet paper alone but a Hand Bidet Sprayer is much better than a bidet because it offers greater water volume and superior control over a standard bidets spray.
