How well does the satellite internet work?
The satellite internet works great! It was touch and go for a while there. Our provider, Inasol, who pretty much has the monopoly for satellite internet in Costa Rica, finally found a good provider in the states. He recently switched his customers over to this new provider (about 4 months ago) and we are very happy with the new service. Even the Skype works great. As with all satellite internet it will cut out occasionally when there is heavy rain – other than that it’s been very stable.
