Yea a web browser is a web browser. I use mine as a web-browser also. I only visit a few site though but yea I’ve never had any problems at all using the web browser on my ps3. It’s like the Internet on your TV! Definitly would recommend a keyboard and mouse though. It sucks trying to use the controller to type in web address’s and such. you can even intall an operating system on the PS3. It’s basicly like a badass gaming computer with blu-ray and wifi — why not get one.
