Each team on the FP service has an assigned senior, who is always available to discuss patient care for new admissions as well as emergencies that may develop with the inpatients. The senior and the attending on service must be informed of all admissions and emergencies and will steer the resident on call towards the most appropriate action to enhance patient care.
