When used as a hooded shower-proof, the Skoody is shower resistant to 600mm per minute (the technical standard of the nylon). This means the Skoody will keep you dry in a light to medium shower, but should not be worn in any gale-force blizzards, torrential downpours or as an alternative to a deep-sea diving wet-suit … as the Skoody is not WATERPROOF! In such circumstances it is best to stick to the recommended specialist clothing that is designed for such conditions!
