How was Zoroastrianism founded?
A. Zoroastrianism is the world’s oldest monotheistic religion. It was founded in Iran approximately 4000 B.C. by Zarathustra. The Greeks translated it as Zoroaster, meaning the Shining Star. Zoroaster brings the message of freedom and liberation from darkness, ignorance, superstition, ritualism and blood sacrifice. He does not demand blind following.
