How was working with Rowan Atkinson? He is silly on film but is he really serious?
Natalie: He can be but I got him goofing around. I just joked around to the point where he had to crack. With me he knew that I got this part two weeks before they started shooting. He knew I was nervous about it. He was very much ‘are you okay to do this? Is there anything you want to go through?’ They totally cradled me through the whole thing. I was so lucky. I know that doesn’t always happen. Rowan is very intellectual and very serious but it never got too intense. TeenHollywood: You’ve taken on a lot, being caregiver for your boyfriend. (Daniel from the group Silverchair who has a severe arthritis condition). How has it been balancing all that? Natalie: It’s been interesting. I think it’s a real test for a relationship to go through something like that. When I was shooting the film he was in the hospital in Australia. I was able to move my rehearsals so I could go home. I flew home for a week to see how he was doing. It was really hard. I don’t ever want to go through that again.
