The DesignLine VMS system was initially developed for the MK-1 Shuttles. As a result of having HEV buses continuously operating in a typical transit duty cycle environment for over 8 years, DesignLine knows what the HEV system experiences in day-to-day transit operations. With this knowledge, the VMS system has been continuously modified and advanced to overcome any known real world operational issues in the typical transit duty cycle. This advancement has been occuring over the last 8 years. The current version of our proprietary VMS is extremely robust and can deal with almost any conceivable operational situation, making the DesignLine HEV system extremely reliable.
