How was The University of Mississippi selected to host the debate?
The Commission on Presidential Debates selected Ole Miss from a pool of 19 sites nationwide. The University of Mississippi will host the first of four debates this year. Ole Miss was selected as a presidential debate site after university officials completed a lengthy application process, which included a campus visit by the CPD.
