How was the public involved in the development of the Expenditure Plan?
As part of the outreach process, ACCMA staff will be making presentations to every City Council in Alameda County, the Alameda County Board of Supervisors, and the Boards of AC Transit, BART, and LAVTA. ACCMA staff will also meet with other key agencies and stakeholder groups to inform them about the Vehicle Registration Fee effort and receive their feedback. In addition, ACCMA held four public workshops in March and April. ACCMA notified the public about these workshops and the Vehicle Registration Fee process through electronic newsletters, newspaper notices, e-mail notification, social media, and other outreach measures. The dates and times of these workshops are listed on the meeting calendar page. All meetings, meeting materials, and project documents will be available on this website in the documents section.
