How was the Panama Canal built?
Its basically a short cut to the Pacific ocean from the Atl Ocean, ships dont have to go all the way down and around the tip of South America they can cut though the Panama Canal it saves a lot of time. The Canal was built in the early 1900’s with Teddy Roosevelt being one of the biggest supporters to get it done, this was the era in which America was becoming more of a global power and flexing its muscles.
