Staff at the OCIO, CPUC along with independent, outside experts looked over applications or the executive summaries if the applications were not available for all 217 California applications as could be obtained. Those recommended were deemed to be consistent with the goals of the Governor’s Broadband Taskforce and the Governor’s economic agenda. The Governor encouraged the federal reviewers to fund all California applications. If your application was not listed this in no way indicates it was rejected or deemed unworthy of support. The process used was based on similar of other state agencies. Again, those applications that most closely aligned with the Governor’s broadband and economic agendas were recommended.
