How was the lincoln tunnel built?
The Lincoln Tunnel was build under difficulty and dangerous conditions because it was built underground. As a result, workers had to work one hour daily, half during the morning and the half in evening because the air pressure was too much for the workers to handle. While one crew worked from the Manhattan, NY side, the other crew worked from the Weehaken, NJ side, and on August 3, 1935, both crews met, thus achieving a breakthrough and foundation for the Lincoln Tunnel.
