How was the Jesse Metcalfe (Desperate Housewives) experience?
You apparently had no idea about his stardom when you signed The Other End of the Line opposite him… Oh, he is such a wonderful actor and he is so good looking… (laughs). It was an absolute pleasure working with Jesse. He plays my lover who stays in San Francisco and I play a Mumbai-based call centre girl. I travel all the way there to find my love. Yes it’s true I didn’t know he was so big before my friends told me. In fact, my friends were more excited than me. But once I shot with him, I did figure out that he is quite a heartthrob. It’s really cool to work with someone so good looking… And then you have to come back and do a Bollywood masala film like Mission Istanbul opposite Zayed Khan. Was it difficult adjusting? Not really. It was difficult to play my character. I play a TV journalist. It’s a very cute role.
