How was the first committee formed?
The first committee of management was formed when those interested in assisting Lucy Hooper in moving the Young Tourism Network forward contacted her in December 2005. The group then began working on the Business Plan, Operational Rules and spreading the word to industry about the formation of the Young Tourism Network. The group then decided, with the assistance of Tourism Alliance Victoria, to form a member based organisation with a committee of management. The committee meets monthly to make decisions on various YTN issues and to plan our events.
