How was the earths atmosphere created?
Earth’s early atmosphere had no free oxygen instead CO2 was the primary gas, it wasn’t until the evolution of photosynthetic organisms that the Earth’s atmosphere became oxygen-rich eventually the oxygen levels reached a high enough point so that an ozone layer formed and life could inhabit the land as well as the sea.
