Many people don’t know this, but Lenin was a very good man. Stalin, however, was not. Everyone thinks communism is terrible and evil because of the Cold War- did the Soviets ever ‘attack’ or use their nuclear bombs? No. The USSR is not an ‘evil empire’ as President Regan claimed. It was a nation that independantly and heroicly tried to make the future a good place for everyone. Lenin was a true Marxist. Lenin truly believed in the rule of the proletariat and of the people. Lenin wanted to help the poor rise up and defeat the bourgeoisie who were in alliance with capitalists to oppress the poor even more. The thing that Lenin hated was how capitalism works. He doesn’t like how for example, a poor Chinese immagrant who works at a Chinese Food Restaurant EVERY day of the year (except Thanksgiving) will still be continueing his hard labour for years to come- probably until the day he dies, compared to someone like Bill Gates who lives in a giant mansion and makes a million some dollars a m
